Vintage advertising
The links for this material are being added as quickly as
possible. If you don't see what you are looking for, just ask!
Among the current decorating and art techniques is the use of
framed advertisements from old magazines and similar media. Frame them
or plaster the whole wall! Ideal for a related small business or the
memorabilia collector. Obviously, there is a finite supply of such
material.
Here are a number of such ads which I offer for sale. All are of typical
appearance for their age, and are free of major defects unless otherwise
noted. Primarily from the original magazines
Note that the scans are low resolution and a few show hash marks or
"plaids" which are actually solid colors.
My scanner can't keep up with these! If you have any particular areas of
interest, please e-mail, I may have something in that subject area. If
you see a description for an unscanned ad, I can scan it for you upon
request. I have many ads for vintage automobiles from the late teens
through the fifties. Got some great Harley-Davidson and lots of Lionel,
Erector set, and Gilbert chemistry set ads. E-mail your requests!
